VINTAGE MONTGOMERY WARD HOMESTEADER CONVERT CLOTH WORKSHIRT

New Old Stock 1940's-1950's Montgomery Ward HOMESTEADER •SANFORIZED• economy model convert cloth aka "salt & pepper" work shirt with original flasher. Wards offered the HOMESTEADER line of work shirts as the base model or "good" version. Other Wards brands included PIONEER which was known as "better" and TOP FLIGHT which was known as the "best". The grain or "streak" of the convert cloth, the beautiful pointed collar along with the MW insignia seen at the top of the flasher lead me to believe that this shirt dates from the late 1940's to early 1950's.

"STREET VALUE: $10-$15 BUCKS... JUST FUCKIN RAD VALUE: MILLIONS & MILLIONS OF DOLLARS"

This guy gets it. Aaron Draplin via A CONTINUOUS LEAN. Thanks Michael for sharing the vision of someone who gives us hope and keeps the dream alive. And to those commenting clowns Blake, Toby and Sens there's always Jersey Shore, & The Kardashians, Justin B. and all that other watered down shit that you crave.

A quick glimpse of what's to my right, and the one below of what's behind
The old saying... one persons trash, another persons treasure.

VINTAGE DEADSTOCK 1930's-1940's SPORTSWEAR BRAND SWEATER COAT

Vintage 1930's-1940's Sportswear brand Sport Sweater Coat. These cardigan type sweaters were often referred to as Spa Coats or Sports Coats. Features included reinforced seams, ribbed cuffs, roomy pockets and elastic knit worsted wool or wool blend that stretched to fit the body without bulk, making it versatile for work or recreation. This example recently sold for just over $425. Due to it's highly desirable size and N.O.S. / deadstock condition, also taking into account the identity of the winning bidder, this beauty will likely be on it's way to Japan shortly.
